TriCities.com Strikes Out Again
TriCities.com, the online Media General presence for WJHL-TV and the Bristol Herald-Courier has re-invented its look again for like the 5th time in 2 years. They really strike out again on this “improvement” to their web site. I actually like the old mess site better than this one.
Maybe they will learn one day that the annoying pop up/page ads and junk are not needed. The news should be presented in a streamlined and easy to find form. Maybe that is why the BHC is losing readership.

The same new CMS was recently rolled out for the Daily Progress, here in Charlottesville. It’s really terrible, in look and functionality. The worst part was that the Progress (and I bet the BHC) abandoned all of their archives in moving to the new CMS. Our local online record — really important for holding politicians to their past — just disappeared.
