Today I met Ronnie Corvin, the Republican candidate in the Board of Supervisors election for the Chilhowie District of Smyth County. He seems like a very interesting candidate and is concerned about the future of Smyth County and its economy. Corvin is a well known local businessman in Chilhowie. If Republicans pick up this seat, they will take a 4-3 control of the Board in January which is very important to have considering the major issues that are confronting Smyth County. Chief among these issues being how to pay for the courthouse security/renovation and school system and education issues.

If you live in the Chilhowie District, vote Ronnie Corvin in November!
