May 21st, 2006 1:57 PM by Adam

Time for some more self-promotion
Yesterday, I graduated from UVA-Wise with a B.A. in Political Science. I can’t tell you how nice it was to finally get that diploma in my hands. The thing is quite large (UVA-Wise awards diplomas that are the same size as the UVA diplomas). I’m debating […]

I notice Bob McDonnell’s office has recently launched a new web site for the Office of the Virginia Attorney General. It is a great improvement over the former web site.

The Carrico folks launched their campaign web site today. I was told earlier they were waiting on him getting the nomination prior to making it “live.”

May 13th, 2006 5:01 PM by Adam

I just got back in from attending the 9th Congressional District GOP Convention in Wytheville. It was a great convention with all the usual convention stuff. Senator George Allen and Virginia Attorney General Bob McDonnell made appearances. Both Allen and McDonnell gave great speeches that stirred the crowd.
Now, for the basics. […]

May 4th, 2006 12:22 PM by Adam

Here the Richlands paper has a story on Bill Carrico who spent time this week with Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling touring SWVA. A very smart move on Carrico’s part I think. Carrico is the presumptive Republican nominee to take on Rick Boucher for Congress in the 9th District.
It is a pretty good article. […]

Town/City Elections Tuesday

May 1st, 2006 12:18 PM by Adam

Tomorrow many Virginia towns and cities will be holding local elections for town/city council and/or mayor. If you live in a town or city having an election tomorrow, make sure and show up to vote.
Too often these elections end up with very low voter turnout leading to some races having ties or very small […]

May 1st, 2006 11:57 AM by Adam

Kilo has made note of Lt. Governor Bolling’s SWVA tour. He will be stopping today in Wise at UVA-Wise and at Mosby’s Restaurant.
Regretfully, I will not be back in Wise until Wednesday due to it being Town Election day tomorrow. I am helping out a good friend of mine who is seeking […]
