Bush has nominated John Roberts to the SCOTUS. Now the fireworks from the Dems/Liberals will begin. Roberts sounds like a very qualified person for this position. The Democrats are already on television sounding like they are going to be obstructionists on this one. Frist, bring in the nuclear option.

According to Fox News President Bush will announce his choice to replace Sandra Day O’Connor tonight at 9pm. Afterwards, watch for the Dems/Liberals to go nuts regardless of who he picks.

Looking at www.smythcounty.org (link) I see they are making an attempt to update/re-design their web site. Lets hope this one is better than the previous web sites. We’ll have to wait and see.

According to sources, the first Salt Fest in Saltville did not really have that many people in attendance (that is “paying” visitors). There were a whole lot of people admitted free as special guests according to my sources.
